What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

My process always begins with a complimentary meet-and-greet to get to know both the cat and the parent. I take time to learn about the cat’s routine, medical needs, personality, and preferences—no two cats are alike! I ask detailed questions about feeding, litter box habits, medications, enrichment, and behavior. For each new client, I create a personalized care plan to follow while they’re away. I also keep open communication during the booking with daily updates and photos. My goal is to ensure the parent feels confident and the cat feels safe, happy, and cared for.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I ensure safety by securing the home, following routines, monitoring behavior, providing enrichment, and keeping emergency contacts readily available in case of emergencies.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes — I am available during most holidays and understand this is often when cat sitting is most needed. I am happy to help keep your kitty comfortable at home while you travel.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Patience and respect are key. I let timid cats set the pace, using a calm voice, soft body language, and giving them space to approach me when ready. I also use positive reinforcement and play to help them feel confident abd trusting with me in their home.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
