Cat Sitting in Tacoma, WA
I am a former employee of a cat sitting hotel where I cared for up to 100+ cats at once. Through that job, I met many wonderful kitties with unique needs and personalities. I truly loved the job, however had to leave due to moving to Tacoma over the summer. I also have experience watching friends and families pets while they’re away.
I do work full time at home, which allows ample flexibility for cat sitting.
I am a momma to one handsome Russian Blue boy named Sasha and had kitties growing up! I was truly the crazy cat girl... Hello! I’m Corinne.

I am fully vaccinated and keep
up with my boosters, but I am happy to wear a mask at visits and take all precautions to keep us all healthy. I understand everyone’s comfort levels are different and am happy to accommodate those needs.
If any additional tasks are needed such as bringing in mail, watering plants or sweeping/mopping, I’m your gal!
My goal is to keep your mind at ease knowing that I will make your kitties feel safe, showered with attention and love while you aren’t at home. 😺

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Earning a cats affection and trust! It can take time. Playtime, treats and lots of pets are sure fire ways of doing that. 😊
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
When I worked at the cat hotel, there was a frequent guest named Fletcher. He is an orange cat so he was very smart and a little crazy! He is indoor/outdoor, so he would sometimes escape out the back door, which was thankfully out to an enclosed area! He is a wonderfully unique cat and I’d always look forward to when he stayed because he has so much personality. I miss those days and hope to meet more unique kitties!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Asking if there are places that are off limits. Inspecting the area for any hazards to the kitties (ie: some kitties like to chew on plastic, or cords, etc). Making sure to not leave any doors or windows open. If kitties are allowed outdoors, then follow instructions for that process. Always lock up when leaving!

This is the 2nd time Corrine took care of my kitties and the 2nd review for Corrine. I accidentally left the wrong house key, (Corrine could not get in my place) while traveling out of state. Corrine waited until help arrived to let her in and she was able to find the spare with my directions. Again, I can’t say enough nice, kind things about Corrine. Getting Corrine the correct spare key was the most stressful part of my trip. No stress while knowing Corrine watched over the kitties. Very grateful for Corrine!

Corrine was fantastic! I haven’t used a cat sitter for years because my cats became too stressed (litter box issues) which made me stressed. Corrine made this process very stress and worry Free. Corrine was extremely flexible, took great care, put eyes on one kitty that NOONE ever sees to make sure he was doing ok. Sent photos and video. eating areas of my kitties were clean, no stress litter box happenings. I could go on. Corrine has a genuine kindness and care for kitties and I Highly recommend Corrine.

Corinne was an absolutely wonderful cat sitter. She took amazing care of our cats and was incredibly attentive to each of their personalities especially our very picky one. We were so touched that she even brought Christmas toys just for them, which truly went above and beyond. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our cats were not only well cared for, but genuinely loved while we were away. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Tacoma cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!
