Cats have always been a central part of my life, and spending time with them is truly one of my greatest joys. During each visit, Iāll follow your care instructions to a T ā fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, and any favorite routines your cat enjoys. If theyāre feeling playful, Iām always ready for toy time. If theyād rather observe from a distance, Iām happy to keep things quiet and low-stress. Youāll receive regular updates with photos, so youāll know your furry friend is in loving hands.
Iām also happy to bring in mail or packages, water plants, or help with other small tasks while youāre away.
I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your cat at home, and Iāll treat your pet (and your space) with the same care I give my own. Whether your cat is curious, cautious, cuddly, or completely aloof ā Iāll meet them where they are and make sure they feel safe, seen, and spoiled.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is, of course, making new feline friends! But more than that, I love knowing Iām providing peace of mind to fellow cat parents while theyāre away. As a lifelong cat person myself, I understand how important it is to leave your kitty in the care of someone who truly gets cats ā their quirks, moods, and boundaries. Cat parents arenāt just looking for a pet sitter ā theyāre looking for another cat person. Someone who respects the slow blinks, the hiding spots, the 3 a.m. zoomies, and the quiet companionship. I take pride in offering that understanding and connection, treating every cat like one of my own.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I once got to sit a beautiful fluffy girl for just over a month. I work from home so I was able to take my laptop and just hang out with her for a few hours, sitting on the floor, working on my laptop, while she lounged next to me. Even though her mom was away I was able to give her a sense of normalcy and company instead of just dropping in once a day and leaving.

Rachael is incredible!! She came over every night for a week to feed our three cats, scoop their boxes, and just hang out with them--and even shoveled our walkway after a snowstorm! She sent tons of pics of the cats and they clearly loved her. She even spent the day with them after missing a night because of the storm. She obviously loves cats and we've already booked her for another trip we're taking next month. Couldn't recommend her more.

Rachael is wonderful! This was our second time with Rachael, we were gone for 9 days and we loved seeing the messages and pictures daily. She is so accommodating with times of visits, and even checked with us that our arrival home wasn't delayed in case we needed her for another visit. Our trip was so much more relaxing knowing our cat was well taken care of.

We were very impressed with Rachael! I have a cat that greets people but does not normally hang around and immediately rub up on their leg, it was obvious that Rachael is a cat magnet! Her communication was excellent! She came over to meet us and even took notes. She sent pictures which showed me that my cat was comfortable and playful with her while we were gone. Right after we left we received a notice that a package arrived, I asked Rachael to take that in the house when she came for her visit later that day, but she made a special trip so we wouldn't worry about the package, wow!!!! I highly recommend Rachael!

Rachel was amazing with my cats! Theyāre not always the easiest to care for but she handled everything with ease, going above & beyond what I expected. Rachael is a wonderful sitter. Besides being totally trusted to take good care of 'Kash', she's handled a backup sump pump alarm and a Ring alarm with all the diligence I could expect. Highly recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Brookfield cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Rachael was challenged with a couple "water" related incidents in my home. She handled them perfectly, putting my mind at ease while I was away.
