What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for neighbors and friends for many years and have been with Meowtel since 2025. I know how important it is to have someone responsible that you can trust caring for your cats while you’re away. I would truly love the opportunity to provide you with safe and loving care for your cats.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

We have four cats, and each one has a distinct personality. Katie is a lovable loner with a raspy meow who enjoys snuggling, but only on her time. If she were human, she would be a quiet, persnickety little lady. Alfred is a handsome cat with big blue eyes and regal charm. He is confident, a little arrogant, and completely won over by treats and head scratches. Our third cat, Percy, earned his name because he spends about 98 percent of his day purring. If he were human, he would be the friendly guy next door whom everyone loves. Finally, we have Louise, our cat-distribution kitty. She was found as a lost kitten on the side of the road and was bottle-fed and nursed back to health. She is spirited and loves to play fetch. If she were human, Louise would be a spunky, slightly rebellious teenager.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I would like to meet you and your cat before you leave to make sure you feel comfortable with me. I would follow your instructions to take the best care of your cat while you are away. I would also communicate with you and send pictures and videos so you feel confident your cat is well taken care of. I can also help with other vacation related tasks like watering plants, getting the mail, or taking out the garbage.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
