In my free time, I like to go swimming, travel, try new restaurants around town, and visit all the Milwaukee festivals I can. This town is known for its summer festivals!
My goal as your cat sitter is to give you peace of mind as you're away... Certified cat lady here. LGBTQ+ friendly and affirming! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ As of February 2026, I am also a cat foster mom through a Milwaukee rescue shelter! 💜What I love about animals, and especially cats, is that they have their own remarkable personalities. Once you get to know them, they can certainly surprise you!

My goal as your cat sitter is to give you peace of mind as you're away. Whether you're traveling for fun or attending to personal matters, I know you want to know your pets are in good hands. Trust me, I understand! I've needed cat sitting myself as I've gone on vacation or left home for a bit. I know how relieving it feels to have your pets be cared for by someone you trust, and how good it feels to get pictures and video updates. If I can help you have one less thing to worry about as you plan for time away, then that makes me very happy!
I can't wait to meet your kitties and learn all about them! I used to work at a pet store and also used to volunteer at a cat shelter- plus, I have had cats in my life since childhood.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Peace of mind & reliability are everything in a cat sitter. They are taking care of your fur babies while you are away. The sitter should set your mind at ease while you are away from home. Communication is a key factor in successful reservations, both from the sitter & from the client. Discussing any preferences and such up front makes things smoother for everyone, including the kitties. Keep the flow of communication going throughout the visit to fine tune anything you need to feel more comfortable. It doesn't have to be extreme - quality over quantity! - but it all goes a long way! :)
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love cat wands. I like when the kitties get super excited to try and "catch" the wand. It makes for high quality interaction!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I know every cat moves at their own pace when they warm up to someone new! I've been a cat parent to a shy kitty myself. I know that they need space and comfort to feel safe enough for interaction. For shyer cats, I focus on establishing a routine for my visits - like letting them hear me come in, doing a mellow task out of sight first, etc. I will casually speak to them, so they get used to hearing my voice, but won't overdo it if they show signs of stress. I always try to approach them (and want to get cute photos to send you anyway!), but let them set the pace for distance, touch, etc.

My wife and I cannot imagine a better cat sitter than Allison. She did everything we asked of her and then some. Our furbabies are all rescues and fairly shy but they all took to her by the time we returned. One of them has pancreas issues and needs extra attention and TLC and Allison handled her wonderfully. We will never again ask friends or family members to watch our cats unless Allison can't do it lol she really is THAT AWESOME. THANK YOU AGAIN, ALLISON!

Allison was the reason I didn’t have pet-anxiety while away. She loved my kitties like her own and provided very thorough updates. One of the perks I hadn’t considered before hiring a sitter was the time spent in my home with my cats - that alone was worth it. If you’re on the fence, I cannot recommend Allison enough.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Milwaukee cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!
