Meeting so many other wonderful felines through boarding, shelter and pet sitting companies I have been employed through I have been exposed to many more personalities, medications, temperaments and obstacles. Every cat is their own unique being and each one has many things to teach us humans... I am Pet First Aid/CPR, Fear Free and Catpawsitive certified. I've been working with cats professionally for over a decade. Throughout my life I have had my share of learning experiences from my own personal cats.
Meeting so many other wonderful felines through boarding, shelter and pet sitting companies I have been employed through I have been exposed to many more personalities, medications, temperaments and obstacles. Every cat is their own unique being and each one has many things to teach us humans.
I am capable of providing your kitty with oral, topical and injected medications. I foster and volunteer through Urban Cat Coalition and Elmbrook Humane Society and have learned even more from opportunities offered through them. I also work part time at a local humane society on their medical team. I understand that cats are often particularly fickle and will work with them on each visit whether they want to snuggle, casually hang out, play, converse or even hide for comfort.
Whatever will make your cat the most comfortable for visits is what I aim to accomplish and have numerous educational tools and experiences to make that happen.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been around cats since the day I was born and I think growing up with them has taught me naturally a lot about them that I take for granted. I have been professionally working with cats at numerous businesses since 2015 where I've been exposed to a plethora of personalities, caring routines and medications.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I absolutely love seeing cats coming out of their shells and not only feeling more relaxed but really showing off their personality and wild side.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My youngest are all tabbies that came from the same rescue but at different times. They absolutely adore each other and I love watching their relationship grow. They are all under 4 years old and are named Mango, Kiki and Vega. My oldest cats are previous barn cats that I've had since they were babies. They are named Yoshi and Rayna and aged 18 and 16.
Are you usually available during holidays?
My family mostly lives nearby so I generally stay in town for holidays and have a very flexible schedule for them.
What is your favorite cat toy?
Any peculiar item that cats personally pick as favorites, I love to see their creativity and uniqueness come out in play. Overall I'm a fan of various catnip toys to really see the kitties let loose.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Particularly shy or scared cats seem to be a specialty of mine. I typically have good luck with them just by their reactions to my general demeanor. I am always patient and respectful of their wants and needs and go at their own pace to help them feel more comfortable with me.

Kim was available to help us out on around a week’s notice for Thanksgiving since one of our cats was prescribed medication for every 12 hours and we had a hotel reservation out of town for Thanksgiving. She was able to come in and help us out and once again went above and beyond what was needed. We’re definitely going to try to stick with Kim in the future if she’s available when we need a cat sitter.

Kim was fantastic, sent very detailed updates and pictures. She got our shy cat Link to allow her to pet him, and went and found our super shy cat Zelda to ensure she was ok. All four of our cats seemed calm when we got home as if everything was normal. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone! She also went above and beyond and washed the plates used for wet food even though we told her it wasn’t necessary since we had enough clean plates, so we didn’t have to do a lot of dishes when we got home, and she also brought in our mail even though we hadn’t asked for that either! We will certainly be looking to book her again when we need our cats taken care of.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Milwaukee cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
