- I have had cats all my life and I currently have four tuxedo babies! - I volunteered at a no-kill shelter in my hometown of Albuquerque, NM for nearly a year walking dogs and socializing cats. I did this for 10 hours a week, including through the first year of the pandemic. - I only left my shelter volunteer position because I was offered a job as a veterinary technician at that same shelter in their clinic! We saw privately owned pets through our accessible low-income clinic, as well as performed TNR services for private trappers (and keeping/adopting out the kitties that were friendly enough, with the trapperās permission), and provided care for all the shelter pets. During my tenure at the shelter, the whole clinic was certified in CPR for cats and dogs, keeping up with annual certification renewals. I have one Kitty who is not food motivated so when she "hides" it's hard to find her... well she was up to her old tricks and decided she was going to hide from Holly for 2 days.... Holly was so worried and communicated with me as she searched high and low during her visit to find Maci May... low and behold, Maci was curled up watching the show from a drawer... not a worry in the world...lol! Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
