Years later, after college and when she passed on sadly. I adopted 2 of my own for ESA kitties. Kit Kat a striped Dark furred Calico with Tiger stripes who loves to play and cuddle if not lurking in kitchen cupboards. Cat Bug is a talkative Calico with an energetic personality making her a playful cat who loves to chase bugs, toys, laser pointers, or anything that moves.
They make my days better, and I’m lucky to have them in my life... I grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, and we had 7 to 20+ cats at a time outdoors. We would take care of those sick and doctor them back to health. This was where I received my first cat from my grandparents named Checkers. I learned about checkers as a game, and she had stripes on her and liked to chase the round pieces around the house. I have always loved cats since meeting her and forming a bond.
Years later, after college and when she passed on sadly. I adopted 2 of my own for ESA kitties. They make my days better, and I’m lucky to have them in my life. I work a full-time job just 3 days a week at a shop that creates labels, so I get to see them every day. Kit Kat is on a special dietary food due to a queasy stomach from an infection she got as a kitten. I consistently make sure they have dispensed food in a timely fashion, so she doesn’t feel queasy or bloated.
This allows me to cat sit Monday through Thursday in the Oshkosh WI area for others traveling or working, as well as make sure my kitties are taken care of when working daily.
When I worked for another company, traveling to different stores before my current job, I got my Covid Vaccine along with maintaining a mask on my face as was needed and required. Along with those precautions, I wear gloves upon request and bring cleaning Clorox wipes, or in this case, if I receive this job would bring animal-safe cleaning products to use before leaving a visit. Ensuring both my client, kitties, and myself are safe during these times.
In summary, I have loved cats since I was a child and understand that they aren’t just an animal. They are a lifelong fuzzy friend and companion and should be treated as such. I know I would want someone watching my kitties to treat them as such and vice versa.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- May 22-28: Memorial Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Oshkosh cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
