What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have several years of pet sitting. Most of my clients have had dogs, but I have also watched cats on regular occasion. I also have cats of my own and have grown up all my life with a cat as a pet, so believe me, I know what to do and what not to do when it comes to handling the spectrum of differing cat personalities. Got a spicy cat? No worries, I can handle that! It's all about reading body language and adapting to each cat's own needs. While I've had experience with special needs cats, I've never been presented the opportunity to handle cats with extensive medical or special needs care; I am definitely willing to learn with instructions and demonstrations!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

My most rewarding cats have been those with standoffish personalities, it's so rewarding building up trust and bond, there's just something very rewarding about knowing that you've earned a cat's favor and attention.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Always vet by getting references and/or reviews! Affirmation of previous experience is always a good way to ease the anxiety about leaving your cats with someone else! Also, ALWAYS host a meet and greet beforehand with a new sitter, you want to know that there aren't any major problems between how your baby acts around a new stranger before you leave town :) It's a great way for especially anxious and timid cats to get familiar with someone new with the comfort of their owners being around first.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
