There is no... Hello hello! My name is Layne and I am new to cat sitting, but I have been obsessed with cats since before I could talk. I’ve worked with animals previously but wanted to focus strictly on cat care, and I always keep up to date with new information regarding cats and their needs. My own cats take up more space in my house than I do, if that says anything.
There is no kind of cat that I don’t love, even the spicy ones 😉 I am very laid back (which is why I get along well with them LOL) and respect cats personal space and quirks. I have dedicated most of my time to learning all I can about cats, the only thing I haven’t done is get a degree related to them (yet). I would love the opportunity to care for your babies in any way I can.

I have three! Picasso, Sushi, and Elvira. They are the reason I am still alive today and are the sweetest most cuddliest cats in the world (and are spoiled rotten, as they should be.)
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Ensure all cabinets and areas where there could be potentially harmful things are closed properly, ensure all exits are closed.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Give them plenty of space and let them approach on their own terms, never facing them directly or stare at them (other than to slow blink). Do not force interaction.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
