I have years of experience in cat-sitting. For over 3 years I’ve been a full-time pet sitter to many animals, and I'm well-versed in caring for various animals. If I could, I would own a million cats; but since that’s not realistic, the next best thing is to help you take care of your cats while you take care of life! That's where Meowtel comes in handy.
Although I have only one cat of my own, I've been a cat owner and sitter for most of my adult life. For new clients, I prefer a minimum of 5 days' notice to schedule a meet and... Yay!!!! You found me!

Although I have only one cat of my own, I've been a cat owner and sitter for most of my adult life. For new clients, I prefer a minimum of 5 days' notice to schedule a meet and greet, while for future requests, one day's notice or even last minute bookings are fine. I'm located in Chandler and can accommodate drop-in visits seven days a week, between 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. While I prefer daylight visits, I can make arrangements for evening visits for homes nearby, if necessary.
Once we connect, I'll schedule a free meet and greet at your home, This is also the best time for you to provide me a spare key or entry instructions. That may include a lockbox code, spare key, garage code, etc.
The rates I charge are per visit, not per cat. However, if you have more than two cats, I recommend selecting the 45-minute option. Thank you for considering me as your new family pet sitter. I look forward to the opportunity of helping you and your furry family members!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Once we connect, I'll schedule a free meet and greet at your home, This is also the best time for you to provide me a spare key or entry instructions. That may include a lockbox code, spare key, garage code, etc. In the event that we are unable to do a meet and greet, please leave/send detailed instructions or send photos of 1. Gate Code 2. Litter & Food location 3. Water preference (filtered, faucet, etc.) 4. Trash valet days (if applicable) 5. Key location/garage code

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I shake treats to let them know I have access to the goods! I crouch down and hold my hand out to initiate them to smell me. If they still keep their distance, I finish the daily duties and eventually they come around

If you want a 5-Star cat sitter who consistently arrived at the time she said she would, is caring and understanding for your pet and is willing to go above and beyond what she was asked to do, then there is no better person than Shereese. She was outstanding in not only taking care of our cat but dealing with a "house issue" (ant infestation), she calmly took care of it and made sure our pet was safe and well. Shereese was great! The initial meet and greet was pleasant, easy and quick. During my trip, she messaged me with pictures for each visit. She also handled medication for one of the cats. When I returned, the cats were happy and well fed, and the boxes were clean.

Shereese was very professional and accommodating while I was gone on my 2 week trip. My 2 "anti-social" cats (adopted during COVID) eventually ended befriending her, which only further speaks to her skills as a cat-sitter. Highly recommend!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Chandler cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
