What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
While I’m newer to formal cat sitting I’ve cared for other people’s cats and dogs many times. I bring years of hands-on experience from my own home.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I like most about cat sitting is spending time with cats and getting to know their different personalities. It’s relaxing for me, and I enjoy making them feel comfortable while their owners are away.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two cats. Snowy who has a loud meow and Jasmine who is quiet but loves to cuddle. Snowy is less friendly to strangers.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I’d tell a customer to look for a cat sitter who not only loves cats but is reliable and communicates well. A meet and greet is always a good idea too, because it helps the cat, the owner, and the sitter all feel more comfortable before the job starts.

I’ve hired her before for our kitties and they love her every time. One of my cats had a hip surgery and needed some physical therapy (walking laps, massaging) that she was more than willing to do for him. Made my life much less stressful when I was on vacation! She is very compassionate and I’d definitely hire her again!

Elizabeth did an awesome job caring for my kitties. She was willing to jump in and pet sit for my kitties on short notice when I ended up in the hospital. She checked in with me every day and sent me lots of photos. She even gave medication to one of my cats, who was experiencing tummy troubles. I'll definitely book with her again!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Mesa cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
