Cat Sitting in Tucson, AZ

Hello fellow cat parents!
My name is Caitlin, and I am excited to offer attentive, individualized care for every cat in the area. As a lifelong cat lover, I have been caring for and rescuing community cats from an early age. I’m currently a proud cat parent to two fantastic boys—Orson and Judd, and completely understand that cats are unique individuals and cherished family members. I know the stress of leaving kitties behind when traveling, which is why it’s important to me to make sure they are provided with the same level of love, comfort, and routine when you’re away from home.

My feline experience:
I have over 15 years of experience caring for community and outdoor cats and 6 years of experience owning and caring for indoor cats. I have cared for a variety of cats of different ages and temperaments. My background includes:

Kitten & Senior Care:
Managing long play sessions, messy meals, and quiet relaxed sessions.

Medical Support:
Administering oral medication, specialized diets, and vitamins/supplements with careful attention.

Behavioral awareness: Recognizing stress and signs of anxiety and ensuring that cats feel safe and their boundaries are respected.

What to expect during visits:
Every visit is designed to meet the needs of an individual. Whether your cat craves attention and play, or having a quiet moment with humans present, I am happy to accommodate them however they prefer. I always try to give them a chance to greet on their own terms, and listen to pet parent instructions about interaction. I always ensure a clean litterbox, fresh food, and clean water and bowls. Any accidents or spills will be cleaned as well, and I always strive to ensure if any issues arise, that owners are contacted and issues are handled promptly. You will receive detailed updates and lots of pictures too! I will also help with brushing if needed when a cat is comfortable.

My Availability:
Service Area: I am available in Tucson, Oro Valley, Catalina Foothills, and South Tucson within a 30 minute drive from the University of Arizona area.

I am available Monday-Sunday between 6am-9am and 5:00pm-10pm M-Th, 6am-8am and 2pm-10pm Friday, and completely available weekends. I am flexible with arrangements, and will do my best to fulfill any requests.

I look forward to meeting you and your precious kitties during a Meet & Greet!

Learn More About Caitlin

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for about 2 years now, and I have cared for several cats of different temperaments and backgrounds. I find it to be very rewarding, especially with kitties who may need extra time to warmup.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am often available during holidays, though I do occasionally travel during Thanksgiving or Christmas depending on my family’s circumstances.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I often will make myself part of their background during interactions and allow them to approach on their own terms. I ask owners what best helps their cats with new individuals, and will try to see if those help when making introductions. I am also good about reading body language, and respect when a kitty communicates their limits to me.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Tucson cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
