A little about me, My name is Christina. I'm 36 years old and living in Concord. I work at the Kaiser hospital pharmacy in Antioch as a pharmacy technician. In my free time I like traveling, and spending time with boyfriend and family.

🐈⬛ You’ll receive updates and photos with each visit, keeping you informed that your cat(s) is doing well while you’re away. In case of an emergency, you’ll be contacted immediately, and your cat will be taken to your local veterinary hospital or emergency veterinary hospital.
🐈 It’s often thought that cats are self-sufficient, but they actually do need a bit of assistance. Automatic water bowls can run dry or break, food bowls might empty out, and litter boxes can become too full. Plus, cats can’t open cans of wet food by themselves. Indoor cats especially need our attention. If we leave them alone for too long, they might feel stressed, lonely, change their behavior, get bored, or even have health problems. They miss you as much as you miss them.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
My experience with cat sitting goes back many years now. I have been cat sitting for my mom or grandma whenever they would go on vacation. I have been on Meowtel for about over 3 years now.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting would be meeting the new clients some who have become friends, and their awesome kitties. I enjoy the flexibility with the schedule. One funny thing I actually enjoy doing is cleaning the litter box, it is very zen.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I don’t have just one favorite because I enjoy them all in different ways. My favorites have been the ones where I become close to a scaredy-cat or I get a very loving cat. Those make the job that much more fulfilling.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I do! I have one kitty. His name is Kevin. He is an orange tabby and he’s one year old. He’s so fun and playful.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Advice I would give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter is to first read the profile and see if the sitter might work for them. Then look for reviews. A reputable sitter should have at least a few reviews. Then reach out to the sitter and ask questions. This all should give you a good idea if the sitter is right for you or not.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
My typical process for new cat parents is to introduce myself and answer any questions they might have. This might be a new experience for most cat parents so I like to make sure that I cover everything I can. Then after booking we have a meet and greet where myself, the kitty(s), and cat parent(s) get to meet. This is when we go over all the specifics of kitty and the home.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I ensure the safety and security of the cats and home while I’m cat sitting first thing by making sure to enter the home carefully to not let any cats out. I then locate the cats to make sure they are where they should be. I then carefully do my duties while I am in the home. If I ever noticed anything unusual I would alert the home owner. I get my photos of the kitties. Then on my way out I carefully leave and double check I locked up.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I’m available during all holidays. If you have any questions about my availability feel free to ask any questions.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite cat toy tends to be the ribbon wand. Most cats typically have fun with it because it’s interactive.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I have handled many cats so far that are particularly timid or anxious. The way I typically will handle the situation is to give them their space but let them know I’m there and it’s a safe space. I will quietly say their name, offer treats, try for a favorite toy but if none of this works I will let them have their space. Once they warm up slowly I will let them come to be before I go to them. I know I’m in their space and it often takes time.

When one of our cats unexpectedly needed a vet appointment she promptly took care of it. She also sent regular pictures so we could see how well they were doing. I highly recommend her services and would use her again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Brentwood cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $39.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

It was so nice to go on vacation and have a such wonderful cat sitter as Chrisrina. She communicated with me daily and bonded with my sick kitty so that he would take his meds. We took a 3 week vacation and Christina took really good care of our 2 cats. She was able to get the timid cat out and to engage with her (an astounding feat).
