In addition to my personal experiences with cats, I previously worked to raise money for animal shelters, particularly cat shelters. I raised over $1000, which I am very proud of, and I feel as though this experience demonstrates my passion for animals.

My availability for the summer and holidays is fairly open. On a typical basis, I am available most weekends and Mondays and Fridays during the week. If I don’t have a date open on my calendar and you are still interested, feel free to message me and I can see what I can work out. I rely on public transportation to get around San Francisco so my scope is also limited to a 3-5 mile radius.

I am fully vaccinated for COVID. Cleanliness is very important to me and I will wash my hands both before and after interacting with your pets and do whatever else necessary to create a comfortable and germ-free environment for sitting. If your pets have any specific allergies or if you have any specific cleanliness requests please let me know! I believe I am the perfect candidate to care for your cats and I hope you do as well!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been officially cat sitting for 4 years now and I have had a wonderful experience with it. I’ve learned a lot of new things from visiting various cats and their families and enjoy making new bonds and connections! I have also had cats almost my whole life, so I am very experienced with their care.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love meeting new people and spending time with their kitties! Cats are social creatures and it’s incredibly important for them to get the love and attention they need, and I’m always happy to provide that so that their parents are able to go on vacation and take a break!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

My cat’s name is Moira (Momo for short)! She is now 3 years old but I adopted her as a kitten. She is a mixed medium hair and a cuddly sweetheart. My family also has 2 other cats named Pixie and Lucky that we’ve had for over 10 years and I love them very much.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am usually available on most holidays! Feel free to reach out with any requests and questions about my holiday availability.

What is your favorite cat toy?

My favorite cat toy is any dangling string toy. I love engaging directly with cats by swinging a stick around and watching them jump and chase it. Engaging play is the best!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I’ve had a lot of experience with shy cats, including my own. The best thing to do is let them get comfortable with you on their own by giving them space until they are ready to come out of their shell. Letting them smell you, talking to them in a low and sweet voice, and gaining their trust through treats, food, and play is also very helpful!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Coronado cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $33.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
