What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Getting to know each individual cat's personality is always a highlight. And knowing that I can put another Pet Parent's mind at ease while they're away!
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
(King) Barnie was a cat who I regularly watched for two years. He was a vocal, magnificent man who loved to go for outdoor walks. He even insisted on going outdoors in the middle of North Dakota winters haha. He was such a big personality and I loved watching him, my favorite part was that he had a matching rain coat and boots!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
A lot of communication, and I always set up a meet and greet if possible. During the meet and greet I'll ask a lot of care questions trying to get an accurate picture of your cat's care routine. I'll also ask logistics questions ensuring I have access to the residence while you're gone and how I can make sure to safely lock up behind me. I also ask what level of communication you'd like! If there's no preference I default to two updates per day of a quick test and pictures sent! My only goal is to make sure a smooth a transition as possible when moving from your care to mine, to ensure no extra stress occurs!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
