Ive been surrounded by animals literally all my life they mean so much to me but i have to admit the kittys stole my heart lol they are my absolute world. I’m a proud mama to four spoiled street-rescued boys: Koonies, Gizmo, Shmeenie, and Chappy. Having a little crew of my own means I completely respect that every single kitty has a distinct, unique personality. If your baby is skittish, hides, or takes a while to trust new faces, don't worry at all. I never force anything. I've spent plenty of time working with cattery socialization and behavioral adjustment, so I naturally just sit on their level, read their body language, and let them set the pace entirely... I live right here in the desert and handle daily drop-in visits around Desert Hot Springs, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Palm Desert, Thousand Palms, and the nearby cities.

When I drop by, I'll handle all the usual stuff like meticulous litter box scooping, wiping down the surrounding area, washing their bowls, and making sure their food and water portions are exactly right. After that, it's whatever your cat is up for—whether that's high-energy playtime with a feather wand or squiggly worm, gentle brushing, or just sitting quietly together on the floor for some company. I'll always send you real-time updates packed with detailed info and lots of fun photos and videos during the visit so you can completely relax while you're away.
Just for your peace of mind, I’ve spent a lot of time volunteering at local shelters like the ASPCA, Animal Samaritans, and the Coachella Valley Animal Campus. Because of that, I’m fully trained in animal first aid and CPR, and I'm completely comfortable administering oral medications, setting up complex meal preps, or managing strict dietary routines.
I’m also more than happy to help keep your house running smoothly while you're gone! I can bring in your mail, take out your trash, move your bins to the curb, water your plants, or help with cleanups whatever you may need, I'm glad to help.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve known and dealt with cats literally my entire life! But I've began caring for them professionally for over 4 years. A lot of my experience comes from volunteering at local shelters like the ASPCA, Animal Samaritans, and the Coachella Valley Animal Campus in Thousand Palms. It's safe to say I live and breathe cats lol
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Honestly, it's when you're no longer viewed as a stranger and you finally get to see them open up with their cute little personalities. Every single cat is so unique. It’s the absolute best feeling when a cat goes from running away to another room as soon as you walk through the door, to then waiting for you to walk in that door just so they can greet you with full-on body swiping!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes I have 4 street-rescued, incredibly spoiled boys Koonies, Shmeenie, Gizmo, and Chappy. They are literally my everything! I found each of them when they were extremely young puff balls just left all by themselves from literal deserts and busy shopping plaza bushes to scorching hoods of trucks.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Patience is everything, and I live this daily with my youngest rescue boy, Chappy. who is terrified of human movement. I know exactly how much work, time, and effort it takes to make an extremely skittish kitty feel safe. I never force things or try to corner a scared cat. My thing is to sit right on the floor, hold out a closed fist with one single finger sticking out, avoid eye contact, and just wait for them to approach for that first long sniff. That exact moment is everything before a bond can even begin.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Desert Hot Springs cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
