I’ve been a cat-mom almost my entire life, most recently for my two baby girls who grew to be 19 and 20 years old + a community garden cat who adopted my backyard and became my first baby boy. I truly loved all my cats like children - maybe even more so - and I miss them every single day! Why I’m here:
I’ve been dog and house sitting for several friends and coworkers this last year since the last of my babies crossed the rainbow bridge ~ and honestly, I just need more cat-energy in my life! So I’m very excited to join the Meowtel family, and hopefully become your cat’s future favorite auntie.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love how each kitty has their own individual personality! From sassafras all day, to secret ninja, to just cuddle me - and everything in between. I find it fun and entertaining to learn each cats communication style and it is so rewarding once they decide you’re a trusted human.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I had three sweet babies for many years, and wish they could’ve stayed with me forever! Fluffy girl, Hazel, and Greyson 🩷💜💙 I’m not quite ready to adopt more babies full-time, but I’d love to help you care for yours part time!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
It’s ideal to do an in person meet and greet ahead of the stay, so we can have a proper introduction. I feel this helps the furbaby know that I’m safe, and will help me earn their trust a bit easier. It also gives us a chance to observe real-time for any behaviors that are so common for the parents, they may not think to include them in written instructions. In lieu of an in person meet and greet, a detailed overview of the needs and requirements, or a quick phone chat, is extremely appreciated.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
First, is solid communication with the pet parent. The more instructions and detail provided up front, the better! Habits, needs, specific measurements, etc. Please don’t hesitate leave me a novel of everything about your fur baby so I can emulate your actions as best as possible. Second, while I’m actually staying with your pet, you have my commitment that I will be hypervigilant of their wellness and safety. Making sure doors and windows do not become escape opportunities. Getting my eyes on them multiple times throughout the day. Monitoring eating, drinking, and potty schedules. Some of these things sound basic, but really add up to mitigate unnecessary distress. Last but not least - photo updates will be provided! I can’t help but take photos of all the cute things cats do, and I am more than happy to share them with you and provide a little peace of mind while you’re away.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I know that cats need to move at their own pace for comfort, and am totally ok with that. If snacks are allowed to help entice them into the open, great! Otherwise I’m very well versed in staying cool, calm, collected, and playing the patience game so they can approach me whenever they’re ready.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
