I have pet-sat for friends and family in both high and low need situations and have no issues administering prescription for your special needs or disabled furr... Hi my name is Adrienne! I have owned cats my entire life and currently have two senior special needs cats. I'm a recent graduate from Fresno State and love hanging with the cats on a relaxing day on the couch or engaging in the afternoon zoomies.
I have pet-sat for friends and family in both high and low need situations and have no issues administering prescription for your special needs or disabled furry friends.
Before the sitting, I'd like to properly introduce myself to your kitties so they can be more comfortable with me coming in to take care of them. Once I do, I'd make sure their access to food and water was taken care of, medicine administered (if necessary), litter boxes cleaned and monitored for irregularities, as well as any messes cleaned up before playing/cuddling and leaving for the day.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I cat sit on an as needed basis for friends and family. The longest gig being for two weeks. I however have had cats my whole life and am intimately aware of the spectrum of needs they can have.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love meeting the cats and watching their personalities reveal themself as you get to know them. From social to shy, all cats have a silly side that they let you see once they get to know you better.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
One of my friends' cat is a bit of a fireball but loves to play with a pickle toy and roll down each stair one by one when you throw it. BB is a cutie!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two cats! Their names are Bean and Pabu. Bean is a Grey/Brown Tabby and Pabu is a Tortie.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Trust your gut! If you feel like someone would get along with both you and your cat then you've probably found the right person.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
After receiving a request I usually try to schedule a meet and greet so I can become familiar to your kitties. I can also get to meet you and see the space and what their routine is.
Are you usually available during holidays?
For the most part I am available except for Christmas. I tend to travel but it's not guaranteed. My availability will always be updated out at least to two weeks ahead of time.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite cat toys are the ones that mimic prey behavior because I find they are most compelling for cats to get their energy out on. We have one that is a rubbery fish that bounces and wriggles unpredictability that our cats love.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Timid and anxious cats generally get the most space and less face to face time from me. I get in, do the steps to keep them fed and the box clean and get out to avoid any unnecessary stress. In cases where medicine is needed, I'd prefer that there is ample introduction time so they aren't traumatized by me administering it.

Adrienne cares for our animals when we travel and she treats them like her own! Before one such trip, our cat BB was on antibiotics and starting a new diet when we needed to go out of town, and Adrienne went above and beyond to provide even more specialized care. When we got back from our trip, BB was fully acclimated to her new diet and her illness was essentially cured! All of our fur babies love Adrienne and I hope she’ll always be available to pet sit for us!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Fresno cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
