She didn’t want to come inside because of my dogs, so I feed her outside. She has a bed and food and water. Unfortunately I cannot catch her to get her fixed. My experience with fostering kittens, this has helped me learn about the different temperaments of cats. Their personalities are so funny. Cats are so different than dogs. I have a boy and a girl kitten, and they keep me entertained. I follow feeding and medication schedules. The water bowl will be filled and litter box will be cleaned. I offer play time, and belly scratches and conversation. If you would like a photo update, I can provide that as well.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
If you are nervous about finding a cat sitter to care for your fur baby, I feel you. If you decide on hiring me, I will be very attentive to your kitty or kitties. I love to talk to them and give them lots of love. If they don’t want to be bothered, I will give them their space, but speak to them gently from a distance. Ensure they are still well cared for.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
While cat sitting I would make sure they don’t eat anything their not supposed to. I would not let them outside if they are not allowed to be. I would make sure the cat or cats have food and water, and treats if available.
What is your favorite cat toy?
Favorite cat toy is the springs, but the hanging teaser toys are fun too. I also like the tunnels, the cats seem to love playing in them.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Cats that are timid or anxious need warming up. I would allow for them to smell my hand, and monitor me in the home. We can start off with a few treats and maybe a toy. All animals usually take a liking to me.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
