My name is Shelby, and I've had the pleasure of living alongside my 3 cats for nearly 6 years. Before them, I had the joy of living alongside a plethora of pets, like dogs, fish, lizards, frogs, and other cats in my family!
I work a government job, so while I work typical hours M-F, I do have the flexibility to adjust! This is especially great for families with pets that are on a specific feeding schedule or need their medications at set times. Generally, I'm available for sitting before work, during my lunch hour, and after work.
I am fully vaccinated for covid-19, as well as standard annual flu shots... Hi! I can't wait to meet you (&your furry friends💚)!

I offer my services in Clovis, Fresno, and some surrounding areas.
Service includes:
Carefully following feeding instructions (trust me, I know! My cats are fed 4 meals a day 🐱)
Cleaning litter box and litter area, including accidents, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping as needed
Play time!
Watering household plants
Collecting mail, newspapers
Taking out the trash.
Administration of medications according to instructions
And lots of communication: I typically respond in less than an hour, and I want to send you lots of updates, pictures, and videos!

We were extremely pleased with our cat sitter, Shelby, and with the overall experience with Meowtel. Shelby is a terrific pet sitter, the best one we’ve hired. We found Shelby to be very competent and conscientious, and she communicated very well, notifying us before each visit and providing a report immediately after each visit, including photos. We have a difficult cat – older with health issues and very skittish around other people, and we were very worried about leaving her while we were gone for 9 days. Shelby took wonderful care of our cat (Jude), and really helped ease our worries about being gone. Shelby got Jude to warm up to her. Jude never really liked any of the previous pet sitters, but she responded well to Shelby. In addition to taking care of Jude, Shelby dealt very well with some house issues such as a malfunctioning kitchen faucet and adding water to an outside fountain. Shelby followed all instructions we left to the letter, and went above and beyond in keeping our home clean and keeping Jude happy and comfortable. She was even thoughtful in leaving some welcoming lights on for us (asking first) since we got home very late. We very highly recommend Shelby for pet sitting, and will definitely hire her again.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Fresno cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
