What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

The cats, of course! I love being able to work with them and give their parents peace of mind that their fur babies are getting lots of love and thorough care while they are away. The kitties deserve nothing less than the best! Aside from that, I also enjoy being my own boss. I like being able to set my schedule, work one-on-one with pet parents, and apply my strong sense of self-initiative and responsibility as a cat sitter. These skills are areas where I shine!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

The most important thing is to make sure that both you and your cat are comfortable with the sitter. Also, clear instructions and communication are a must! It's essential that the sitter has the information they need to properly care for your kitty.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I would love to meet with you and your cat before the cat sitting job begins! This will help your cat feel better about me coming into their home when you're gone and it will help me be more efficient because I will already know where to find what I need to care for your cat before the job begins. This also gives me time to ask questions before you leave, so that I hopefully don't have to bother you while you're away (but you will still hear from me with daily updates on your kitty, of course!).

I am very careful who I use to care for my clients pets. They have to have cat experience, and want to provide high quality loving care. Communication is critical, and they need to be a trustworthy person being in someone’s home while they’re gone. Hayley checks all those boxes!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
