What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Having owned cats myself, I understand the various worries that arise when owners think about leaving their feline companions home alone. I find it very rewarding to help alleviate these concerns for owners.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have a cat named Toto, whom I've raised from eight weeks old to adulthood. She's very timid and afraid of new environments. Because of this, I understand the benefits of in-home cat sitting, as some cats simply aren't suited to leaving their familiar surroundings.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

Understanding Your Cat's Needs It's important to understand your cat's personality (are they lively or introverted?), eating habits (what kind of dry or wet food do they eat, how many times a day, and approximately how much?), and elimination habits (how many times a day do they typically use the litter box, have there been any unusual incidents, and do they ever go outside the litter box?). Are there any medical conditions I should be aware of? By understanding their normal daily routine, I can better identify any behavioral changes that might occur due to their owners being away and a change in environment. I will always strictly follow any specific instructions or concerns that cat parents have.

She also went above and beyond by helping me check on my house while I was on vacation. I came back to a happy and well fed cat 😸She was also very flexible and worked with me to accommodate my cat’s picky feeding schedule!

He’s a scaredy cat that doesn’t approach new people a ton but by the 3rd day, she was able to woo him to play with his favorite wand toy. She took SUCH good care of my cat while I was gone, going above and beyond to provide excellent care. Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
