I've been caring for cats for over 6 years - including my own two rescues (ages 9 and 6), many foster cats, and numerous strays I've helped treat, feed, and rehome. My experience ranges from kittens to senior cats.

I previously volunteered with CARMA and worked at their cat adoption center inside PetSmart. Although I'm no longer there, my time working closely with cats in there taught me a lot about cat behavior and proper care.

I have plenty of time and lots of love to give to your cats... I've been caring for cats for over 6 years - including my own two rescues (ages 9 and 6), many foster cats, and numerous strays I've helped treat, feed, and rehome. My experience ranges from kittens to senior cats.

During visits, I take plenty of clear, high-quality photos and send detailed updates on how your cat is eating, playing, relaxing, or just being their quirky self. I also bring different toys to help keep them active and mentally engaged, depending on what they enjoy.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have fostered cats for years now because in my home country, we had a lot of stray cats around and they needed foster homes and treatments. I have been catsitting as a job for 5 years now.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

To witness a cat trust me step by step! Cats are territorial and find it hard to let new people in by their nature. When I see that they start to trust me and accept my affection, it means the world to me!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! Zeyboy, a longhair domestic cat Misty, a shorthair calico cat I rescued them both from the streets in Turkey and they have been living their best lives since then!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I give them space and time. Not all the cats are easygoing and I am aware and respectful of that. I have a cat who is anxious and I know she loves people when they take the right steps. I don’t push the cats to play with me or be around me. I play some cat relaxing music and talk to the cats in a soft voice, using their name.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
