We adore our cats—the “cancel vacation” level of love. But even devoted cat parents need a break now and then. That’s when we discovered Meowtel… and Edith. From the very beginning, she made everything easy. At our first meeting, I was running late. When I finally walked in, the cats were calmly standing near her, and Momo slow-blinked her like they were already old friends. That moment told me we were in good hands. I asked if she could text us on her first visit just to confirm everything was going smoothly. Not only did she check in, she sent us adorable updates and pictures the entire time. If anything seemed even slightly off, she talked us through it and shared her thoughtful plan to make it right. I had let her know the signs of allergies, and she saw the signs and got them on the pill. But here’s the real sign of how wonderful she was: when we got home, the cats ran up to greet us. Normally, Momo gives me his signature “how dare you leave me” series of love bites—at least a dozen. This time? Not a single nip. Before we left, I explained that Larry has a very particular routine: petting sequence first, then water. I’ve never quite cracked the code myself. Edith? Nailed it in a day. She picked up on both of their personalities so naturally—Larry got his cherished playtime and affection, and Momo had all his beloved toys tossed just the way he likes.

the app allowed me to easily contact Efuth as a potential caretaker and we quickly established her availability and set up a meet and greet. Edith ensured she asked all relevant feedback, questions I hadn’t even thought of. Most importantly our kitty-girls took to her quickly and even our shy one came out each morning with a happy tail and her gentle manner obviously worked for them. I loved getting daily in-app updates and photos from her so we could know they were ok while away. she handled some meds which they needed added to morning food easily and we came back to happy kitties!

Edith took her time getting to know Willow cat, which was not an easy task. Willow is a difficult cat to sit for, but Edith took her time, communicated effectively with us daily and won Willow over by the end. She even worked with us to grove us another day of cat care. Thank you Edith!

Edith was incredible! Shr did two overnight stays for my two cats and I have never felt more comfortable with being gone from my cats. She provided so many amazing updates with pictures, and played with them a lot! I would highly recommend her and plan to use her again for future trips!

We couldn’t recommend Edith enough. We hired her for a week of drop-in’s with our elderly cat (who doesn’t usually warm up to people quickly) and on the first day she sent updates and pictures showing that Missy was letting her pet her. Edith bonded with my cat right away, and they shared many cuddles together! Edith sent lots of updates and pictures, which helped ease my worries while I was away. She was detail oriented and accommodating, and left things clean tidy when I returned. The overnight stays helped my kitty feel less anxious without me home, and I can tell she loved having Edith visit her!
