What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

My experience stems from growing up with cats since the day I was born. Other than my own pets I have pet sat many pets around the LA area. I have sat indoor and outdoor kitty’s, shy and outgoig kitty’s, young and old kitty’s, and I love them all equally. I have around 6 years experience watching pets, minus the time I spent growing up with them!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I will work with you and your kitty to make sure all needs and boundaries are met and discussed. I will make any adjustments needed to make you both be as comfortable as possible and will never ever think any request is too much- I understand wanting to protect and care as much as possible especially when you’re not physically close!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I let them be them. Cats have taught me a ton about boundaries and patience, not just with animals but also with people. I want them to take all the time they need to feel comfortable! I am in no rush to force companionship and will focus on basics for as long as they need!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
