I am knowledgeable about caring for and entertaining the feline species. I am passionate about helping cats stay comfy.
Please invite me for any and all last-minute or long-term feedings, a cordial visit while pet parents are away, playtime with toys. You can expect very clean bowls and fountains, plentiful pettings (if welcomed), or even medications or diapers as needed. I'm happy to help. 🐾

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have worked with countless cats over the years, and have two cats of my own. I also watch cats for family, aside from here at Meowtel.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Getting to know the cats' personalities. It's also fun to see their toys, favorite food and treats, and how they live.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
My favorite here on Meowtel is when I get to meet a new kitty or two, help them with their medications and make sure they get treats, fresh food and water, and that their area is squeaky clean before I go.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two 4-year old cats, Misty and Penelope. I adopted Penelope from our neighborhood, and met Misty when she was for sale by owner, in a household of her siblings.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Cats are very sensitive animals and they feel your vibe. Find someone who is sensitive and experienced. If you need them to administer medication, they shouldn't be too shy to do their job.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I would typically schedule a meet and greet where I come to the house, meet the kitties, and go over their food, care, and routines. This allows me to meet the cats in person so that they're more familiar with me, and connect the dots to make sure I am prepared to offer excellent care.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I make sure to understand and follow directions very carefully. I also make sure to ask any important questions and visit the cat's home before the parent leaves.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am usually available for most holidays with exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I'm available during 4th of July, Memorial Day weekend, and Halloween.
What is your favorite cat toy?
It would have to be the birdie on the string! A rather popular toy, loved by many but not all cats. Helps them get exercise and practice their reaction time.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Try giving them space and talk softly. Leave treats out for them, offer a petting hand at a distance, and let them choose you. Also try quiet cat YouTube channels with music and sound effects.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $34.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
