My visits include: Feeding & thorough litter cleaning, lots of play time and lots of snuggles (cat permitting, of course!), light housekeeping: watering plants, bringing in mail, taking out the trash, and keeping the litter & feeding areas spotless, and most importantly updates sent directly to you after the sit! I’m able to administer pills, liquid meds, an inhaler, and insulin injections. I do not offer subcutaneous fluids at this time.
Other things to mention: I send lots of video & picture updates, at least 5-7! (Sometimes more!) Videos are my favorite as I know how hard it is to not be with your cat(s) and I think sending videos is an important touch to see how they are really doing while away. I have a knack for getting some really great pictures and thoroughly enjoy my cat photography!
And that covers the business side of things! So here’s a little about me personally: My husband and I moved to Los Angeles in 2017. In early 2019, I started cat sitting and it has been my full time passion & focus ever since! In another life, I was a MAC makeup artist and then an Executive Assistant for a large commercial bakery. I also have a handful of hobbies like creating nail art for myself, going to the beach, & swimming. I’ve been a cat person my whole life!

I’ve been a cat sitter for over 5 years! My experience has been great, I love what I do!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Getting to know each cat and spending time with them learning their personalities. All of my cats have become like my own. They are all my little besties!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have one kitty and her name is Mini (aka Dookies lol) she is a spoiled only child!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

Are you usually available during holidays?
I work most all holidays with the exception of December. I always take December off so I encourage all my clients to plan accordingly
What is your favorite cat toy?
So many cats really do love a laser pointer! It can usually entice even the most timid-to-play kitty. The “cat dancer” wand is always a winner too!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Giving them time and practicing patience!

Sarah is the most amazing sitter! She makes sure to give our kitties lots of love and play time during each visit. She also sends the best pictures and videos of our boys so we can see how they’re doing. My kitties are young and rambunctious, meaning they often get into a little trouble and have been known to destroy a few things around the house while we’re gone. Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $34.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
