I have over 5 years of experience caring for pets, including senior cats and those with special needs as well. I’m also a cat parent myself to two wonderful rescue cats, so I truly understand how important it is to have someone reliable and attentive looking after them while you’re away.
My goal during visits is to keep your cat comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their own home :) I always make sure food and water are fresh, litter boxes are clean, and that your cat gets the kind of attention they enjoy!
I’m very attentive to each cat’s personality and routine, and I’m happy to follow any special instructions to make sure they feel secure while you’re gone. I also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your cat is being well cared for :)

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been caring for cats for over 5 years and have experience with a wide range of personalities and needs, anywhere from playful kittens to senior cats and those that require extra patience and special care/medicine. During this time, I’ve helped with daily visits that include feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, providing basic medications when needed, and making sure the cats are happy and cared for overall!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to know each cat’s unique personality and building trust with them over time. Every cat is different and I love adapting my visits to what makes them feel most comfortable. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or simply quiet company, it feels very rewarding to help kitties feel safe and relaxed in their own home while their owners are away :) As a cat parent to two rescue cats myself, I also understand how important it is for owners to know their pets are in caring and reliable hands!!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
My typical process starts with getting to know the owner/cat parent and their cat’s routine so I can provide the best care. Before the booking begins, I like to discuss feeding schedules/routine, litter box care, playtime preferences, and any special instructions or medical needs their cat may have. During each visit, I make sure food and water are fresh, the litter box is clean, and that the cat gets the type of attention they enjoy. After each visit, I also send updates and lots of photos so the cat parent can feel confident that their pet is safe, comfortable and well cared for while they are away.

Mnouchkine is a sociable and friendly cat, so it really mattered to me that she’d be with someone who would meet her energy and enjoy her company. That’s exactly what happened. She clearly felt at ease with Lisa and was able to be her usual affectionate, curious self. I came back to a happy, relaxed Mnouchkine, which says everything. I also really appreciated the updates along the way. They were thoughtful and reassuring, and made it easy to feel connected even from a distance. I would absolutely trust Lisa with Mnouchkine again !

We had a wonderful experience with Yelyzaveta taking care of our two cats. She was attentive to each of them and followed all my instructions about feeding and everything else carefully. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
