I’m Hui, a cat sitter based in Los Angeles and a proud mom of two kitties with very different personalities—one shy and one playful! Because of that, I understand how unique every cat can be and always take a gentle, patient approach in his/her own love languages!
I move at each cat’s pace and respect their boundaries while providing feeding, playtime, litter cleaning, and calm companionship. I pay close attention to your directions and and small behavioral cues to create a stress free environment so your cat feels comfortable and secure while you’re away.
Being a mom of raising two kitties from 3 months old, I have the intuition of noticing something is off and will communicate with you promptly! I also send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is safe, cared for, and in loving hands. 💕🐱🐈⬛

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to know each cat’s unique personalities and form special connection with them. I genuinely care for your cats’ well-being and happiness and do the best I can to make them feel comfortable when you are away. I also love to get to know their different personalities. Some are playful, some are shy, and some simply enjoy quiet company. I love the special connection that happens when a cat decides to trust you. It’s very rewarding to learn their rhythm, earn their trust at their own pace, and help them feel safe and comfortable while their family is away.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Me and partner have two black domestic short hair kittens! They are 9 months old and their name is Kiki and Gigi! Kiki is a little diva with boundaries - she love her alone time by the window but she also have an affectionate hour during 7pm - 8pm for petting and cuddling . And we would try to be at home during that time for her! Gigi is a sweetest boy who’s an ultimate purring machine. He loves caps and would play them like a hockey player for hours! They are our biggest joy!

Yes, I’m usually available during holidays. I know that holidays are when many people travel and want to make sure their cats are well cared for. I’m happy to help provide reliable visits so your cat can stay comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their familiar home while you’re away.

We are very happy that we found Jiahui to take care of our cats. She’s very prompt, responsive, detail oriented, and most of all, is very nurturing to our pets. Are cats are not what you will consider as people friendly, but they cozied up to her right away. She puts together very comprehensive reports after her visits, and that really helped making us feel at ease. We have no complaints. We will surely look for her again next time we need help with our cats.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
