I have lived with cats all my life. I love how they all have unique personalities.
As a cat parent myself since college. I would take great care to help other cat parents feel at ease when they need pet care. I would also love to build bonds with other kitties in my area. • I am an event manager at UCLA and love ever second of my 18 plus years on campus!

My cats –
• 2 years ago I lost my best fur gal pal, Phoebe to cancer and was completed devastated, still am which is why I would love to be around as many cats/kittens as possible. It is comforting.
• But, 6 months later my mom became unable to care for her cat, who is an 18 pound ball of fur – part main coon, part Siberian snow cat and whatever else is in his DNA. His original name is Mr G, but I have landed on the nickname The DUDE, as he is just so chill, he came from northern California and is now living the life of a Westsider.
Along with your cats needs I can also – water plants, take out trash, check your mail.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Professionally since April 2023, but prior experience with friends and family pets. Kittens and seniors, shy and super spunky. Like them all!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Getting to know a new cat and spending time doing what they like to do - playing, purring, and pets.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My 18 pounder has a few names - officially Mr G, but offend referred to as G- Money or The Dude.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Mostly. I try and travel during off peak travel dates so cat parents can enjoy thier time away from home.
What is your favorite cat toy?
Oh man…. Things with string, feathers , bells, catnip, bright colors. If it wiggles then it is fun for everyone.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
When I first meet a cat, I like to be on thier level, talk softly, hold a hand out and let them come to me.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $34.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!

It was wonderful having Lorrie take care of my baby. My cat was comfortable with her from the first day. I had unusual questions/ instructions twice during the 2-week period, but she communicated perfectly! She sent pictures and videos every day, and played with my cat. I definitely recommend her!
