There were some positives and some challenges with this stay. She was very kind, took great photos of my cats, and left my home clean, which I really appreciated. There were also a few things that didn’t go as smoothly. She was about 20 minutes late to the meet and greet, and during the stay there were a few times she said she’d be arriving at a certain time but wasn’t actually there yet, so I had to follow up. There was also an instance where she texted the wrong number, which added to the confusion and made things feel a bit more chaotic than expected. I may not have explained the feeding schedule perfectly, but my cat did vomit twice over three days, which only happens when he’s gone too long without eating. She also mentioned that she put him out the bedroom and kept the door closed after my cat tried to sleep on her pillow. He likes people and is clingey, and I shared that during the meet and greet, so this was disappointing since overnights and more attention were important for us. One of my mugs was also accidentally broken. She’s very sweet, and I appreciated the effort she put in, but clearer communication and more consistency around timing and feeding would have made the experience better.

I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Ellyot. She was detail-oriented, communicative, and reliable from the start. She sent thoughtful updates with beautiful photos, kept my home tidy, and consistently went the extra mile, from brushing my cats’ fur and teeth to staying longer just to spend extra time with them. When one of my cats got sick, she diligently monitored her recovery, handled medications and special meals with care, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It’s rare to find someone so responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring. I trust her completely with my cats and will absolutely continue to rely on her for future trips!

I first reached out to Ellyot during Christmas to watch my 2 cats and 2 dogs. I was very nervous having someone at my home for 10 days. Throughout the entire stay, Ellyot sent me pictures and communicated about my pets. She was respectful of my home and the way I left it is exactly how she kept it upon my return. Ellyot truly loves pets and cares for their well being, which is an amazing skill to have because I never having to worry whether my pets are comfortable or not. She soothes my anxious cats anxiety, administers oral medication, and keeps up with the very complicated routine I had requested of her. Since Christmas, Ellyot has become my go to pet sitter and my cats are always excited to have her around. My anxious one even cuddles with her!
