I have been watching pets for friends for years. In the past couple years I’ve worked on multiple platforms for pet sitting and walking.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I enjoy meeting a new cat! Most cats are so sweet and funny at times. They are very chill animals.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I currently have 2 cats. I have Lew, he is a beautiful black cat that is almost 17 years old. And then there’s Scruffy. She is 2 years old and just a tiny scruffy looking black cat. Most of my cats have been from feral litters.

Shirley was wonderful and gave us a peace of mind while we were away. She was punctual on our first meeting, came and left while we were away in the agreed upon timeframe, did everything that was asked AND more! She even sent us a picture of our cat while she was checking in on her! We highly recommend and will be utilizing her services in the future!

We were incredibly lucky to find Shirley as a last-minute cat sitter, and wow—she was amazing! From the moment she came by for a walkthrough the day before we left, we knew our home (and fur babies!) were in great hands. Shirley messaged us every day with adorable updates and photos of our cats, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She even went above and beyond by watering our plants, making sure everything was just as we left it—or better! Our cats absolutely adored her and clearly miss her already. It’s not easy to find someone who is so reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring, but Shirley is all that and more. We can’t recommend her highly enough and will absolutely be reaching out to her again for our next trip!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
