Sydney is, without question, the best cat sitter I’ve ever had. She is a true cat person, and it shows in everything she does. She didn’t just stop by to feed my cat, she genuinely spent quality time with him, keeping him engaged and happy. She even brought her own toys to play with him, which was such a thoughtful touch and something I’d never experienced with a sitter before. She was incredibly kind, communicative, and respectful of my home. Throughout every visit, she sent plenty of photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. What truly set Sydney apart was how she handled an unexpected emergency. My apartment flooded while I was gone, and she immediately went above and beyond to help. She assisted with cleaning up the water, communicated with maintenance, and made sure they were aware of my cat so he stayed safe throughout everything. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her. To top it all off, she left the sweetest thank-you note and even brought my cat a gift. Sydney is an incredible sitter, and treated our cats with love. She far exceeded my expectations in every way. For example, one of my cats is really shy around new people and I was really worried that he wouldn’t come out to eat while we were gone but Sydney was able to win him over within the first meeting - she had him eating treats out of her hand. Our cats are bengals and playtime is important to them, Sydney made sure they had all the entertainment they needed and even brought over new toys for them to try. She did such a great job! Sydney is super easy to work with and flexible and also great with cats - even shy ones! She actually found my shy kitty one time when I could not. By day two he was completely comfortable. Sydney was wonderful companion to my two kitties. I was a bit concerned that I was leaving them for about 25 days but after the first few days, I could see by the photos/video that both kitties were happy with their new friend. This is the first time I have left my kitties in someone’s care for a long time. I was very nervous because one of my cats got sick before I left and on top of that, he is extremely scared of everything and everyone. I knew Sydney was going to the best care giver to my 4 cats as soon as we met. She introduced herself and quickly saw “Max” our large black cat and moved to pet him “hello”. She was interested in the cats care instructions and she would be sending videos and pictures to let us see our fur babies were doing well. she sent the videos and pics with notes on how care was going. Sydney is so thorough and kind. Our cats LOVE her, even the shy one. She sends up pics and keeps us updated and has so much love to give to them!
