I’m an experienced cat sitter passionate about providing exceptional care for your feline friends. Growing up on a small farm in west Sonoma County, I’ve raised over 15 cats and become the go-to sitter in my neighborhood. On the side, I manage a small online clothing business specializing in whimsical fantasy-inspired designs. My shop’s mascot is Keekee, my endearing yet derpy Maine Coon fluffball, who currently resides back on the family farm. Although not suited for city life in Oakland, Keekee and his younger brother Obi are cherished additions to our family and integral parts of my life. As a fellow cat owner, I’m eager to deliver exceptional cat care, providing you with peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been cat sitting and caring for cats from a very young age and more recently been actively cat sitting throughout the Bay Area for the past few years.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Learning each cats personality and needs and making sure they are comfortable and cared for while their humans are away

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I’ve become very fond of many of the cats I care for but one of my favorites has been one called Bancroft. He is full of personality and loves to flop over on his back to have his belly rubbed. We’d spend mornings bird watching outside the windows and I’d love listening to him chirp and mimic them. He would enjoy playing “chase” where you pretend to chase him around each room until he’d flop over for some pets and tummy rubs. He’s an absolute sweetie and one of the best 🐈‍⬛

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two cats that currently live with my parents, as they are not city kitties. My maine coon is named Keekee and our void boi is named Shinobi (Obi for short)

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am available most holidays throughout the year and can be in either service area upon request.

What is your favorite cat toy?

My favorite toy to use is a feather wand

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Give them time to become comfortable. Talk in soft voice in/near their safe hiding zones, and allow them to smell either my hand or shoes/clothing so they can become used to my smell.

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
