I’m well versed in catmunication and am happy to recognize and accommodate rapid cat mood swings from “play” to “give me space.”
I trained my cat to come, sit, twirl, lay down, jump-up and am happy to work on anything new or that you are already working on with your cat as I believe it is great enrichment... I pride myself that I can build a good relationship with any cat given time, and I love the bond that forms when you put in the patience required for acceptance.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy any and all cats, so I love the opportunity to meet them and make new fur friends. Cats are very selective and often take much patience but the bond formed is always unique and priceless. I love getting to form that bond with new cats and be their comfort friend when the primary humans have to go
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I currently have a 4 year old black former street cat named Maverick. He has been a blessing to my life every day. I’ve loved his dawn and dusk snuggles and all the adventures we have together. We practice tricks, go outside in the backyard, play through the house, and go on backpack carrier walks together.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I take every cat on their own terms, ideally armed with a history gathered from their parents. I know that some cats don’t like to leave their hiddy holes, but that doesn’t always mean they want to be alone. I tend to just sit on the floor in the house or room and let them feel that I’m here for them. I will usually talk in soothing tones and sometimes just play with their favorite toy by myself where they can see. They might not want to come out and play, but the tracking and watching can still enrich the cat and help exercise the brain to reduce stress. Most importantly, I listen the parents who know the cats best, and I listen to the cats. Relationships can’t be forced, so I always take extra care to earn the trust of timid cats

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
