I grew up with cats & dogs (the best combo), and have over 25 years of experience caring for the animals of family, friends, clients, and of my own. I’m also an active volunteer, with many years of adoption and fostering experience.
My love for animals inadvertently shifted my profession from Interior Design to starting my own Pet Care Business & Pet Photography Studio (Biscuit Studio LLC). I am certified in Pet First Aid & CPCR, and fully bonded and insured through my business.

In the households I look after, a clean and safe environment is priority. Under my care, cats will have access to fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and a relaxed space for play, affection, and nap time.
Depending on your cat’s energy level and personality, I cater my activities to their needs. I enjoy giving them interactive play and pampering (my specialty 😌) with belly rubs, under the chin scratches, treats ~ they name it!
I love when pet parents share the important details about their pet’s routine, diet, medications, quirks, or anything else that would help me take the best care of them and make sure they are the most comfortable!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have over 25 years of experience caring for the animals of family, friends, clients, and of my own. I’m also an active volunteer of the Humane Society, with many years of adoption and fostering experience.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Cat sitting is such a treat because every cat has its own unique personality - I love learning their quirks and endearing habits. Spending time with them is therapeutic; They are the perfect companions.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
The key is to find a sitter that genuinely cares for your cat like you do. Ask questions and ask for references. Set clear expectations so the sitter can provide the best possible care and comfort to your cat while you’re gone - leave detailed instructions about feeding and medication, if required.

Katie was amazing and gave us that cat person comfort feeling on our initial visit .. we just moved to the area and prior to the move I was searching out a cat sitter. She kept in touch the couple months prior to the kittens’ move. She was on time for both visits and took extra time with the kittens’ first sit .. sending lots of pictures …so glad we found someone reliable and cat caring in the area!💕

OMG…Katie was amazing!! Exactly what we needed for this quick trip away! Katie was just wonderful with our 3 fur babies😽😽😽& made us feel at ease while away from them. She was very detailed on her care for them & was always available to communicate with us. She also sent photos of them, which was great to see how they were doing. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Palm Desert cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $33.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!
