Cat Sitting in Palm Springs, CA
I am flexible and accommodating and work with you to make sure my schedule fits around the needs of your fur baby. As I do accept last minute bookings, my calendar may not be accurate all the time. I strive to have great communication and respond to messages and inquires in a timely manner.
In addition to caring for your fur baby I offer basic home care services included in my pricing. I can bring in mail and packages, water plants and take in/out the trash.
I find that when animals are in their homes they feel most comfortable. I strive to make sure your fur baby keeps their routine.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My housemate has a cat named Apollo. When I moved in, I went into full aunt mode and love spoiling him. He is a shy boy and takes a while to warm up to new people. The day I moved in it was just me and Apollo as my housemate and partner were at work. Within a few hours Apollo came into my room and slowly we were able to hangout on the bed and give him pets. Since then we enjoy hanging on the couch watching TV and he allows me to pick him up for a short time and then gives me a signal when he has had enough and I set him down. I have also been harness and leash training him so we can go outside on the unfenced patio and he can explore as he is a very curious cat.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I tend to make time to see family and friends throughout the year so holidays aren't a big deal for us. I attend an annual camping adventure during Labor Day but otherwise happy to spend the holidays with your fur babies.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I know patience is key especially with cats. It's all on their terms. I like to provide the space and time for them to feel comfortable. I make an effort to sit on the floor nearby but also with giving them enough space to feel safe and not block the exits so they can move into another room or go into a safe hiding spot. I've noticed the 'cat smile' where I do long eye blinks has been well received and of course treats. I also work with you to find out what makes your cat feel safe and best practices you and past sitters have used that your cat responds well to.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Palm Springs cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $33.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
