I have always had cats throughout my life and have had plenty of experience taking care of them. My current fur baby is going to be 15 years old and she loves baking in the sun and playing with her many many cat toys.
I am able and willing to clean kitty litters, feed kitties, provide water, socialize and groom (upon request)... Meowtastic Cat Sitter here for you! I have volunteered with multiple animal shelters in the past. I currently volunteer with Mary S. Roberts, I have in the past volunteered with Foster Army and Kitty Angel Team as well as a few small foster groups in various Petco stores.
I have always had cats throughout my life and have had plenty of experience taking care of them. My current fur baby is going to be 15 years old and she loves baking in the sun and playing with her many many cat toys.
I am able and willing to clean kitty litters, feed kitties, provide water, socialize and groom (upon request). Also, for me when I am out of town I always appreciate pictures and videos sent to me from my sitters so that is absolutely something I am willing to do for my clients. It always helps to see that your loved one is being taken care of and a picture in my eyes means the world when I am out of town.
I do work Mondays - Thursdays until about 6 pm and every other Fridays but have weekends off and am able to make visits in the evening during the days that I work. Looking forward to helping some fellow cat owners like myself!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for at least 8 years now formally. Informally I have been cat sitting for much longer.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love animals, so taking care of cats has just always been a wonderful experience for me. I love seeing the kitties and the different breeds but I also love knowing that I’m taking care of those shy kitties as well.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have one mainecoon mix named Rahja. She is about 15 years old and she is a spoiled queen. She loves lounging in all her favorite spots including the bed, her tiki hut and her patio outside.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
The initial interview is key. I always take notes. I always get a cell number so if the app isn’t working I can contact you for emergencies. I always want to see the cat but some are very shy so a picture will suffice.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Shutting the door behind me right as I enter. Announcing my presence when I come in usually with “hi kitties”- and making sure to lock up after.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am yes. Very rarely am I not available on holidays but always check my schedule first.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My cat loves her feather toy- it’s very fluffy she enjoys it and treats it like a baby grooming it and meowing at it. I usually flock to this toy with cats because of this; however, I am aware that all cats have their own style and personality and they each have their own preference of toy.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give them space. I speak in a calm tone. My cat does not like strangers and so I have experience on the best way to approach them, patience is key.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving

- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Riverside cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
