I love to cook and eat as well as hosting tea parties and dinners for my family and friends. I’m an introverted extrovert so enjoy staying at home and watching horror movies with my boys or out and about explore different cities and countries. I like to be creative and dance (without the talent). I’m a your regular fun loving gal!
I’m a pisces so definitely a people pleaser and really enjoy helping wherever I can. I work as a Wedding Planner/Coordinator in La Jolla so my days off change constantly depending on the events happening but I love what I do!!
I currently reside in Rancho Peñasquitos but happy to travel in and around San Diego!

Springs!!! I give my cats endless amount of springs which they love to lose and rediscover! It’s a great game ahaha

Patience is KEY! Giveing them their space and letting them approach me. No sudden movements or entering their personal space until they feel comfortable

This was my first time hiring someone to catsit that I didn't already know & I had some difficulties on my first attempt that left me scrambling at the last minute, but Selina quickly stepped in and was a great help in reading my anxieties. She was incredibly communicative before, during, & after which was a great help. When she showed up she was prepared with questions to ask and was patient while I rambled. Taking care of two cats with such different personalities can be tough, but she did a great job of caring for them both.

Selina was great with our very challenging and confusing cat who begs for pets and then immediately overstimulates and gets aggressive. Selina put up with a lot from our boy and had a very positive and understanding attitude! She was very accommodating and timely as well!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

San Diego cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Selina was great with our two cats. Although they are quite shy and tend to hide when visitors are in the house, Selina had them coming up to her for pets the very first day. She took great care of them.

Wow, Selina is amazing! Just go ahead and book her services now… unless it’s a weekend we need her. lol We are very particular fur parents, and she truly exceeded all our expectations. 5 stars in every category! 2 of our 3 kitties can be very skidding and shy, but they became best friends with Selina on the first visit. She’s either a complete natural or has an Ivy League degree in Cat Whispering. Regardless of how she does it, you’ll be traveling in total peace while she takes complete care of your fur kids!

Selina was quick to respond to a last minute request to watch our kitty. She was prompt and professional and took amazing care of our kitty. Selina sent many pics and messages and was attentive to our kitty’s needs. Our kitty in normally pretty shy but she warmed up quickly to Selina. We will definitely look to book Selina again!
