Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I’m a proud cat mom to two adventure-loving cats: Bellatrix (Bella), a vocal and sassy diluted torbie and Theodore (Theo), a rambunctious yet super sweet and affectionate mini black panther. They’re both full of personality and keep me very familiar with everything from playtime and enrichment to litter routines and feeding schedules. Having my own cats means I truly understand how important consistency, observation, and gentle care are when someone else is looking after your pets.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I like to start with a quick meet-and-greet to understand your cat’s routine, personality, and any special instructions. I follow detailed care notes closely and prefer clear instructions so I can keep everything consistent while you’re away. During visits, I provide fresh food and water, litter care, playtime or calm companionship depending on your cat’s temperament, and light home check-ins. I also monitor behavior, appetite, and litter habits and will notify you promptly if anything is out of the ordinary. After each visit, I send detailed updates and photos so you will always know how your cat is doing.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I’m typically available during holidays, particularly the major ones (Christmas and Thanksgiving). My immediate family lives nearby, which gives me flexibility during holiday periods, and I understand how difficult it can be to find reliable care during those times. I’m happy to help with both short trips and longer holiday travel plans!

I can't recommend Michelle enough! She cared for our three cats, including one being treated for cancer who needs daily medication, and we felt completely at ease the whole time we were away. From the start she was warm and communicative, even stopping by for a meet and greet beforehand. Her daily updates were the highlight of every day: detailed, thoughtful, and always paired with adorable photos. She noticed each cat's personality and quirks, figured out how to give our sick one her pill without stressing her, and sat with our youngest on the stairs so she could eat in peace away from our resident food thief. What set her apart was how much she clearly cared. She paid attention to the little health details, which gave me real peace of mind from across the world, and happily worked around our schedule changes so the cats were never waiting. Michelle was very friendly and responsible. I got lots of pictures and videos during my trip and updates on how my cat was doing. I didn't have to worry about anything - she knew what to do and when to reach out for clarification. My cat felt comfortable around her on the first day and really enjoyed her company! she left everything tidy and was very respectful of my space. highly recommend :)

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
