I c... Hiya! My name is Linda and I'd love to help you by giving you peace of mind while you travel! I'm very good with animals and I absolutely love cats! I'm good at reading their ever-shifting moods and wishes and accommodating them. Whether it's a big petting session, time to attack toys or even alone time, I'll be there for your kitty. (I love getting their Purr Engine going!)
I can also care for multi-kitty households, tailoring my attentions to each cat's individual ways.
I can administer pills or shots if needed and am open to accommodating any other special needs your cat has (outdoor leash walks, special feeding times or instructions, disability care, etc.)
I'm an excellent communicator and a responsible person.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I really love helping a pet through their parents being away. I am especially grateful when the cat(s) can enjoy my company and take advantage of pets and play and a warm body to sit on in the absence of their regular family. It makes me feel good to leave them happy and comfortable.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes. I am frequently in town for many holidays and weekends and am happy to help people during these busier times.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Timid or anxious cats need space and time to get comfortable at their own pace. Some cats don't want to be petted or picked up or even acknowledged!! Sitting in their space quietly and letting THEM approach ME is key. Speaking softly and encouragingly to them can also be an ice-breaker!

I ultimately booked Linda because a review described her as a very smart and perceptive woman — and I found this to be extremely accurate as well! Linda anticipated needs and actively problem-solved to ensure our kitty was well taken care of, which eliminated any stress I had leaving him alone for so long! Linda was extremely communicative and timely, with hilarious messages and adorable photos of our Earl. Linda graciously accommodated any requests, kept our kitty feeling loved and entertained, and even cleaned his area so it was spotless when we got home from our long trip. You can tell Linda truly loves what she does. Earl now has a new best friend in Linda, who I trust will be there to provide all the cuddles, scritches, playtime, and kisses whenever we’re out of town! I simply could not recommend Linda more and will be referring her to the other cat-parents in my life!

Linda is THE best cat sitter we’ve had and I’m so lucky we got her to take care of our kitties Wally & Eva during the Christmas break. We were gone for 10 days and that’s the longest we’ve left them under someone else’s care. Linda sent us daily pictures and gave her impression of how the cats were doing. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day

- June 16-22: Juneteenth

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

San Francisco cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $39.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
