On most weekdays, I’m available for morning visits, which are great for feeding routines, medication schedules, and helping cats start their day comfortably and stress-free. But I’m also available for afternoon or evening visits as long as it meets your cat’s schedule.

I’ve been providing cat sitting services for the past 2 years and have experience caring for cats with different personalities, routines, and needs. In addition to cat sitting, I’ve also been a cat owner for over 11 years, which has given me extensive hands-on experience understanding feline behavior, body language, and daily care. I’m comfortable caring for shy cats, playful kittens, and senior cats, and I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and stress-free environment while their owners are away.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most about cat sitting is building trust and bonds with each cat and seeing their unique personalities come out over time. Every cat is different, and I genuinely enjoy learning what makes them feel comfortable, happy, and safe while their owners are away. I also love giving pet parents peace of mind by knowing their cats are being cared for with patience, attention, and compassion. Whether it’s spending time playing with energetic kittens, comforting shy cats, or simply keeping a senior cat company, I find it very rewarding to help cats feel relaxed and cared for in their own home environment.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

One of my favorite cat sitting reservations was caring for a very shy rescue cat who hid from most people. I took time to earn her trust by being patient, keeping a calm environment, and following her routine closely. By the end of the reservation, she was greeting me at the door and sitting beside me during visits. It was very rewarding to see her become comfortable and relaxed, and her owner was incredibly happy with the updates and care I provided.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes, they’re a senior cat Momo and a baby cat Daisy! They’re my good companion! I love them very much.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I would recommend looking for a cat sitter who is patient, reliable, and truly understands feline behavior. Every cat has a different personality and comfort level, so it’s important to find someone who will respect their routine and make them feel safe and stress-free while you’re away. Good communication is also very important. A trustworthy sitter should provide regular updates, photos, and carefully follow any feeding, medication, or care instructions so you can have peace of mind during your trip.

I am always apprehensive about traveling but ever since Candace started watching our cats, it’s been nothing but stress-free. She follows care instructions to the letter and goes out of her way to clean up accidents, brush the cats, and play with them. My husband and I were very pleased with Candace's Care for our two cats and fish. In addition Candace watered our yard for us there's nothing like coming back to half dead plants and trying to rejuvenate them. she was prompt attentive and sent multiple pictures so we were able to have the best of both worlds vacationing and seeing that are animals and home were well taken care of. Was out of town for 9 days and Candace came in with very exceptional attention to detail and care for my highly anxious cats. When she first got to my house she found ants had gotten into the food and she not only cleared/cleaned the ants, she adapted to ensuring the cats could be fed ant-free. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
