What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
My experience with cat sitting is 5 years+, although I’ve had cats my whole 20 years. It’s one of my favorite activities to experience to meet new cats and cat parents:)
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I grew up with my first two cats, Tasha and Moosey! Two completely different personalities. One loved the attention while the other hid in my moms closet, and only liked her. Now we have Xander and Brady (named after Tom Brady), Xanders personality makes me laugh, he acts like he hates me but I’ve been told by my parents he sleeps in my room all the time. And Brady is the sweetest, most needy cat ever!
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite cat toy has to be the cat toy wands/teasers. I love when I see cats do somersaults it’s so fun to see how high they jump and can still manage to landing on both of their feet!

Rachel did an amazing job taking care of my cat, Dandy. She made sure to spend time playing with her and giving her attention which my cat loves. She was really attentive to Dandy’s needs and clearly knows a lot about caring for cats. I felt completely comfortable knowing Dandy was in good hands while I was away. My cat can be a little shy around new people but she immediately warmed up to Rachel and trusted her which made me feel great. I will definitely use Rachel again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
