As my title suggests I absolutely adore petting/hugging cats. I absolutely adore cats, as anyone that knows me will tell you. Playing with them is my favorite past time, I’d be honored to play with your furry children! If they tend to be more reserved and shy, that’s okay too! I try my best to adapt to each cat’s needs. I make sure that they are safe, happy and healthy. I’ve been around cats my entire life, especially living in a house that fosters strays. I understand that each cat has a different personality and needs to be met. Getting to know that is a fun challenge!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I definitely enjoy petting the cats the most. Hearing them purr and feeling their soft fur makes me really happy!!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I make sure that all the windows and doors are locked, as well as anything hazardous put away. Things like non-cat safe flowers, sharp objects, or flames are removed from the area. I’ll also dust if a cat likes hanging around in dusty areas.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I tend to keep a distance with a cautious hand out for them to sniff. Then I’ll accompany it with snacks and/or toys to coax the cat closer! I always make sure to stay silent and slow.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
