What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been pet sitting for about 4 years now. I own a cat myself. I have cat sit a hairless cat, cats that needed daily meds, cats that only eat a specific way, etc. also I am happy to stay with the cat overnight if that gives you comfort!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Being with the cats! I have a cat myself as I said, but I also love meeting new cats and potentially having a nice relationship with them!
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I just cat sat a hairless cat named Dolores. She was the sweetest cat ever, and absolutely loved me. I would just sit with her and pet her for like an hour straight! It was great.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have one kitty named Juniper. She is a shy but very sweet snd silly kitty who loves to play !
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Make sure they mesh with your cat! I know it’s hard to see after a visit or two, but if you sense there’s a good vibe already then that’s a good sign!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to meet the cat before the booking. If there are complicated feeding instructions I sometimes like to make videos to make sure I got everything correctly!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I update the owners pretty often, and send a lot of photos. Especially of their cat looking relaxed, because than you can tell your cat is comfortable!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Depends on the situation. I would maybe around Thanksgiving but unsure about Christmas. It all just depends on family plans!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
