What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

When working with a new cat parent, I like to start with a meet-and-greet to get to know their cat’s personality, routine, and specific needs. I ask questions about feeding, litter box habits, favorite toys, and any health concerns. I also go over home care instructions and how they’d like to receive updates. During the sitting, I stick closely to the established routine and provide regular communication with photos and notes. My goal is to ensure both the cat and their parent feel comfortable, safe, and supported from start to finish.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I keep kitties safe by locking doors, securing keys, and following your exact instructions. I stay alert, give updates, and treat your home like my own. 🐾🔑

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes! I’m usually available during major holidays and understand how important it is to have reliable care when you travel. I recommend booking early to secure your preferred dates, as holiday spots fill quickly. Your kitty’s comfort and safety are always my top priority. 🐾✨

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
