Yes! I have a 4 year old cat named Ashe and a 1 year old cat named Socks. I also have 2 bunnies named Poppy & Sprout!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I think the best thing you can do is choose a sitter who genuinely loves getting to know your cat’s personality. Look for someone patient and gentle who doesn’t rush the process and understands that every cat has their own way of warming up. It helps to find a sitter who’s good at communication and happy to send photo updates so you never feel too far away. Most of all, trust your gut. You want someone who makes you feel comfortable and makes your cat feel safe, relaxed, and understood.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I always take things very slow with timid or anxious cats. I let them decide when they’re ready to interact and I keep my movements calm and gentle so they never feel pressured. Sometimes I’ll just sit nearby and read or quietly talk to them so they can get used to my presence without any expectation. I follow their routine closely and pay attention to the little things that help them feel safe, like favorite hiding spots or comforting toys. My goal is to create a peaceful environment where they can relax and come to me in their own time.

Jamie was absolutely incredible with my cat. I was really worried about leaving my cat alone after she lost her brother but Jamie was so understanding and flexible and cared for my kitty with so much love. She sent incredible updates with wonderful photos and videos and I’m so thankful. She even accommodated a last minute schedule change when my flight was cancelled. I’m so thankful for her and will absolutely book with her again!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
