What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is building trust with each cat and creating a calm, reassuring presence while their family is away. I love getting to know their unique personalities — from playful and social to shy and sensitive — and meeting them exactly where they are. There’s something very special about earning the trust of a reserved cat and watching them relax into their routine.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I prioritize safety by carefully following each cat’s routine and the home instructions provided by the pet parent. I double-check doors and windows at every visit, ensure food and water areas are clean and secure, and keep litter boxes well maintained. I move calmly through the home to avoid startling cats and am especially mindful of escape risks with shy or curious kitties. I also treat every home with the same respect and care I would my own, keeping the space secure, and peaceful so both the cat and pet parent feel safe and at ease.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I’m typically available during holidays. If my availability changes, I keep my calendar updated and provide notice as early as possible so pet parents can plan with confidence

Sandra is so amazing with cats she did so well with my cats especially with my new one so sweet and kind I defintly will ask for Sandra again to babysit my babies😁👍🐾❤️She even brought her own toys to play with babies since I lost mine. I defintly reccomend getting Sandra for multiple cat homes☺️❤️👍

Sandra is the best! My cat, WillowBee, comes out of her hiding spot for only a few people. Sandra is one of them. She seemed to trust her immediately when Sandra first visited. That has never happened. I also don’t trust many in my home when I’m not there. But I fully trust Sandra. She has a high level of integrity and is very respectful, not to mention incredibly kind, reliable, and thoughtful. I recommend her to everyone who has pets!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Watsonville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
