Cat Sitting in Whittier, CA
I work remote for a software company and love it because that means I get to be with my fur babies all the time! This also allows me a flexible schedule which is pawsome! With that being said, I do work full time on a Monday-Friday 7am-4pm schedule remotely. Due to multiple scheduled meetings throughout the day, I am available mostly in the early mornings (before I begin work) and evenings (after I am off work)... The reason why I love cat’s so much is because I can personally relate to them in various ways. It takes many cats a while to adjust to a new environment, needs time to build trust with new people, thrive in their comfort zone, and are so curious about everything! Cats teach me more about myself than I realize. I currently care for 2 fur children, Salem Moon and Nacho Sun! They are the complete opposite but truly are the best duo together.

Due to multiple scheduled meetings throughout the day, I am available mostly in the early mornings (before I begin work) and evenings (after I am off work). However, if I am needed in the noon-afternoon time frame, please let me know and I will work with you to see how I can make myself available. I am normally open on the weekends unless I am out of town or unavailable, which will be reflected based on my calendar availability.
Outside of my day job, I enjoy cooking, reading, visiting local community events, museums, spending time with my fur children (of course!), and weightlifting!
I am currently located in South Whittier, CA near Friendly Hills :)
One other thing to know about me is that I respect people’s privacy. When I am visiting to provide the best care for your cats, that is my one and only objective as I understand that having someone come into your home comes with great trust and respect. When you meet with me or trust me to care for your fur children, please know you are in a safe space. It will be an honor and a privilege to care for your kitties!

Kelly was fabulous! She spent lots of time playing with my kitties, checked my multiple litter stations daily and freshened them all, sent photos and reports daily. If anything seemed unusual she let me know. She collected my mail and papers and watered my plants. You should hire her!

When she took care of them, she sent before and after pictures of their food bowls, litter box, etc. She also sent a video of her loving on my kitty! Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Whittier cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $35.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
